2011 Pirate Travel Baseball Tryout

Tryouts for the 2011 Travel Baseball Season will be held August 15 & August 22 with a rain date of August 29.

13U - Field 1 9am - 11am                 14U - Field 4 Noon - 2pm

14U - Field 4 9am - 11am                 13U - Field 1 Noon - 2pm

There wiil be a $100.00 deposit due at try-outs.Peferably a check but cash or on-line pay is acceptable. On-line payments would have to be done 24 hoursprior to the try-out. If your child does not make the team your check or cash would be returned, on-line payments would be credited back to the account used. If your child is selected and you accept the bid to play on the team your deposit will be applied to your balance upon accepting the bid. At the point that the bid to play on the team is accepted then your $100.00 deposit will be non refundable.

Travel Fee is $275. The fee consists of uniform (pant, t-shirt, jersey, hay, socks, belt), field maintenance for KVBSA games, umpires for KVBSA games.

All tournaments (except for the Pirate Baseball Classic) are extra. Teams will will generally play in 2-8 tournaments a year, this will be up to your team.

Pirate Baseball Classic is only a parent volunteer charge. All teams on off tournament weekends will be required to volunteer.

12U team will attend the Cooperstown Dreams Park tournament in Cooperstown, N.Y. Heavy Fund raising will be required for this tournament all families must participate, more info after 12U team is announced.

Kensington Valley Baseball & Softball Association (KVBSA) is the league we will play in. KVBSA Season will begin April 15 & end around July 15, 2011. Schedules will vary with age group & could consist of 20-25 games. With tournaments teams could play between 40 - 60 games for the 2011 season.

2010 12U Team off to Cooperstown

Coach Paul Pomo & his team will be leaving for Cooperstown, N.Y. on Thursday July 15. They begin play on Sunday July 18. 10U team wins KVBSA Tournament

Our 10U travel Team has won the year end tournament. They finished the season at 22-17. Congratulations to Coach Russ Manney and his team.

2010 Board Meeting Schedule

Below are our board meeting dates for 2010. Meetings will be held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm at the Navigator School Cafeteria.

* No meetings are scheduled in May, June or July, 2010. If an issue comes up after our April 13, 2010 meeting that the board needs to meet, a special meeting will be set up by our President Paul Pomo.
