Athlete Age Calculator

The league age of a player for our divisions are based on the player’s age as of April 30 of the current year. A child's playing age is their age on April 30, 2023. Use the link to the USSSA website to determine the child's playing age.

Tee-Ball Goals

Tee-Ball Goals
A perfect starting point for baseball and softball! Athletes hit off a tee, learn beginning base running, and learn names of positions. Skill focus is on learning throwing and hitting form. This is also a great intro to being on a team. Tee-ball teams focus on making the game fun!

7U: Instructional Coach Pitch (Ages 6-7)

This level is a combination of coach pitch and kid pitch with use of the tee as needed. Focus is on meeting athletes at their level and building skills and increasing game knowledge. Players will begin learning pitching and will play a combination of infield and outfield positions. No base stealing. Six-year-olds who have previously played tee-ball can sign up for this level if they are ready to learn more. 

9U: Competitive Coach Pitch  (Ages 8-9)

This level  is a combination of kid pitch and coach pitch and moves further toward all athlete pitching. Focus continues on increasing game knowledge while continuing to learn and play infield and outfield positions. No base stealing.

11U Minors: (Ages 10-11)

This level moves to all athlete pitching with base-stealing included. Players will play a combination of infield and outfield. Focus is on improving skills and increasing game knowledge. 

14U Majors: (Ages 12-14)

This level moves more toward high school team rules including all athlete pitching, leading off with the pitch, stealing home, infield fly rule in place, and dropped third strike. Continued focus on increasing game knowledge and skills in a more competitive situation.

9U: Coach/Kid Pitch Softball (Ages 6-9)

This level is a combination of coach pitch and kid pitch with use of the tee as needed. Focus is on meeting athletes at their level and building skills and increasing game knowledge. Girls will begin learning pitching and will play a combination of infield and outfield positions. No base stealing. Six-year-olds who have previously played tee-ball can sign up for this level if they are ready to learn more. 

11U: (Ages 10-11)

This level moves to all athlete pitching with base-stealing included. Players will play a combination of infield and outfield. Focus is on improving skills and increasing game knowledge. No experience - that's okay! This is still a great time to start learning softball skills. 

14U: (Ages 12-14)

This level moves more toward high school team rules including all athlete pitching, leading off with the pitch, stealing home, infield fly rule in place, and dropped third strike. Continued focus on increasing game knowledge and skills in a more competitive situation.
